The 2025 MPME Field Committee Africa+ (MFC) kicked off its first edition of distributor training in Dubai from June 24 to 25, bringing together Hyundai and KIA distributors from Africa, the Middle East, and CIS regions.

Why Offline Training Matters in Parts Operations?

In today’s fast-paced automotive landscape, digital tools and remote support are vital, but nothing replaces the impact of offline training. Physical sessions allow distributor staff to engage directly with MPME experts, ask questions in real time, and collaborate with experts across markets.

As the principal company, MPME bears the responsibility of ensuring distributor teams are equipped with the latest knowledge and tools to manage daily operations effectively. From inventory management to pricing strategies, every aspect of the parts business benefits from structured, face-to-face training that fosters clarity, confidence, and consistency. Hence, MPME have adopted a hybrid training strategy combining offline and online training for distributor staffs.

A Deep Dive into Case Study

2024 MFC The event opened with an orientation led by Mr. Amar Shanbhag, Head of Department – Marketing & Strategy, who introduced the training methodology and case study framework.

The sessions were designed to sharpen the skills of parts operations personnel and promote the adoption of practical best practices.

MPME experts led focused presentations on Sales, Marketing, Pricing, Inventory, and Logistics. Each session was presented in relation with case studies, offering participants insights which they could immediately apply in their respective job role.

Collaboration and Recognition

The first day concluded with a gala dinner, which is an opportunity for attendees to connect, share experiences, and build lasting relationships across regions. On day two, attendees presented their action plans based on the training case study, showcasing their strategic thinking over the training.

The event concluded in an award ceremony, where Mr. Jin Seop Kim, Head of Group – Marketing & Strategy, awarded outstanding contributors with Star Performer and KPI awards. His closing remarks encouraged all participants to carry forward their learnings and drive operational excellence within their organizations.

The successful delivery of the Africa+ edition of the MPME Field Committee training underscores MPME’s dedication to the holistic development of distributor staff. With the next edition scheduled for August, targeting Hyundai and KIA distributors in the GCC region, MPME continues to invest in building a stronger, smarter distributor network.
